The Jewish Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy provides quality prescription service to our clinic patients. There is always a pharmacist in the outpatient area during scheduled hours to address any of your medication questions.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Checks, and Cash.
For Mercy Employees at The Jewish Hospital:

The Jewish Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy is ONLY able to fill a 30 day
supply for employee prescriptions IF:
- The first and/or second fill of the prescription is requested to be
completed at The Jewish Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy.
- Subsequent refills (the third fill or thereafter) MUST be transferred
and completed at Riverfront Pharmacy.
The Jewish Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy also serves as a drop-off and
pick-up site for Riverfront Pharmacy prescriptions during regular business
hours (Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm. Closed Weekends and Holidays).
All prescriptions filled at Riverfront Pharmacy will be delivered anytime
after 2pm during regular business hours to the Jewish Hospital Outpatient
Pharmacy if requested as a drop-off location.

The Jewish Hospital Pharmacy offers a number of services to ensure quality patient outcomes.

- Compliance monitoring
- Medication Assistance Programs
- Free Diabetic Meter Program
- Accept most Medicare Part-D plans and Medicaid HMOs
Free Diabetic Meter Program
You may be eligible to receive a free diabetic meter from the Outpatient Clinic and also qualify for discounted test strips and lancets from the Outpatient Pharmacy. Ask your clinic nurse or pharmacist about the program.
Medicare Part-D Information

We accept a number of Medicare Part-D plans at The Jewish Hospital Pharmacy. Please contact the Outpatient Pharmacy or the Outpatient Clinic to see if your plan is accepted.
Annual Enrollment Period: November 15 – December 31
- Enroll in or change your Medicare Prescription Drug Plan
- Watch your mail for your handbook (mailing in October)
New Enrollment
- If you are just turning 65, you can sign up as early as three months before your birthday or as late as three months after, without incurring any penalties.
- You may be able to qualify if you are less than 65. For details call the Medicare Helpline provided below.
